ESA Academy Academic Scholarships

ESA Academy Academic Scholarships might become available later this year.

While we cannot guarantee the availability of scholarships at this stage, we encourage interested students to stay informed and be prepared to apply once the official announcement is made.

In the meantime, we recommend that you apply for the MSE study programme starting in April 2026 so that your application can be reviewed in advance. Please mention in your application that you are planning to apply for the ESA Academy Academic Scholarships.

What is ESA Academy Academic Scholarships?

The Academic Scholarship programme aims at facilitating the access to space-related second cycle academic programmes (awarding a Master’s degree) by covering the tuition fees of tertiary education students from ESA Member States and Associate Members.

Am I eligible for the ESA Academy Academic Scholarships?

To be eligible for ESA Academy scholarship, you should:

  • be minimum 18 years old when the academic programme starts;
  • be fully graduated from the first cycle (bachelor’s degree) before the beginning of the Master programme;
  • be a citizen of an ESA Member State or Associate Member;
  • not attend the academic programme as an incoming Erasmus student;
  • not benefit from any overlapping financial support to attend this academic programme, unless duly justified;
  • agree with the conditions of the ESA Academy Privacy Policy.
